Thank you for your interest in Temple Solel. We are proud to be the First Synagogue in DC and Baltimore Areas to replace traditional dues with a Voluntary Pledge. Click here for information about our Voluntary Commitment.

As a member of Temple Solel, you and your family are part of a diverse community of over 165 families, ranging in age from toddlers to great grandparents. Our families include: multi-generational, interfaith, single-parent, LGBT and inter-racial. A majority of our members come from Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties as well as from surrounding counties including Howard, Montgomery, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s.

As a member of Temple Solel, you and your family have opportunities to worship and learn at Shabbat and holiday services, weekly Torah Study, and through our Religious School. We have classes for all ages from Torah for Tots through Confirmation and Adult Education.

As a member of Temple Solel, you and your family have many opportunities to be involved in Temple life. We have a Board of Trustees and standing committees. Members teach in the religious school, sing in the choir, and serve as soloists at services. Our Sisterhood and Men of Solel are very active, and we have two youth groups for children as well as active senior groups. We celebrate Jewish holidays together at our Hanukkah parties and community seders. Enjoy Shabbat dinners, theatre trips, concerts, picnics and sporting events.

As a member of Temple Solel, you and your family can be involved in the surrounding community through our many social action projects and local activities.

As a member of Temple Solel, you and your family are a part of a caring and engaged community that comes together in both good times and in times of need.
